Description:
Sedum Hylotelephium 'Vera Jameson'
Vera Jameson Sedum is a striking, low-growing perennial prized for its beautiful, rounded foliage that emerges blue-green before developing rich shades of smoky purple and burgundy. In late summer, clusters of soft pink, star-shaped flowers appear above the colourful leaves, gradually deepening to rosy red as autumn approaches. Its gently spreading stems create a graceful, mounding habit that adds exceptional colour and texture to the garden.
Perfect for sunny borders, rock gardens, and mixed containers, Vera Jameson provides interest from spring through fall with very little maintenance. Exceptionally drought tolerant once established, this hardy perennial thrives in well-drained soils and attracts bees and butterflies with its nectar-rich, late-season flowers. Its distinctive purple foliage also makes it an excellent companion for ornamental grasses, silver-leaved plants, and yellow-flowering perennials.
