Description:
Aconitum × cammarum 'Bicolor'
Bicolor Monkshood is an elegant perennial featuring tall, branching spikes of distinctive hood-shaped flowers in a striking combination of creamy white and deep violet-blue. Each flower displays beautiful contrasting colours, while deeply divided, glossy dark-green foliage provides an attractive backdrop throughout the growing season.
With its tall, upright growth habit, Bicolor Monkshood adds height and architectural interest to shaded borders, woodland gardens and perennial plantings. Blooming from mid to late summer, this cold-hardy perennial thrives in cool, consistently moist conditions and provides a beautiful late-season display when many spring-flowering perennials have finished.
