Description:
Astilbe × arendsii Purple
Purple Astilbe is a beautiful shade-loving perennial featuring feathery plumes of rich lavender-purple flowers that rise gracefully above lush, finely divided, dark-green foliage. Its soft, airy blooms create a striking contrast against the textured leaves, bringing vibrant colour and elegance to shaded garden spaces.
Perfect for woodland gardens, shaded borders and mass plantings, Purple Astilbe thrives in rich, consistently moist soil and provides a spectacular display during the summer months. Its attractive foliage remains ornamental throughout the growing season, while the long-lasting flower plumes can be enjoyed fresh in arrangements or left standing for winter interest.
