Description:
Bergenia cordifolia 'Winterglut'
Winterglut Bergenia is a hardy, low-growing perennial featuring clusters of vibrant magenta-pink, bell-shaped flowers that rise above thick, glossy, dark-green foliage in early spring. Its large, leathery, heart-shaped leaves provide attractive texture throughout the growing season before developing rich burgundy-red and bronze tones as temperatures cool.
Exceptionally versatile and easy to grow, Winterglut is an excellent choice for shaded borders, woodland gardens, rock gardens and low-maintenance ground cover. Its slowly spreading, clump-forming habit and colourful foliage provide interest well beyond its spring flowering period, while its tolerance for shade and occasional dry conditions makes it a reliable addition to established perennial gardens.
