Mature Height: 12 - 18 inches
Mature Spread: 8 - 10 inches
Other Names: Sulphur Cosmos, Yellow Cosmos
Description:
Cosmos sulphureus 'Brightness Gold'
A cheerful, compact annual featuring an abundance of vibrant golden-yellow, daisy-like blooms above delicate green foliage. 'Brightness Gold' thrives in full sun, flowering throughout summer and into fall. Its naturally bushy growth habit and low-maintenance nature make it an excellent choice for garden borders, containers, and pollinator-friendly plantings.
Jess' Notes:
Smaller than a traditional bipinnatus cosmos, so works well if you want a similar flower in a smaller space. Moderate deadheading, but because this is a native variety, leave some seed heads for the birds! Avoid over fertilizing, as it will encourage too much foliar growth and hinder flower production.
Protection Information: NA
Flowering Only License, Propagation is Prohibited
