The Gazania is commonly referred to as Treasure Flower. This is a great annual for Spring, Summer, and Fall. A native of South Africa, it is usually planted as an annual but is a perennial in temperate areas. It matures to about 10” tall and about 8" wide. The Gazania is a low maintenance, heat and drought tolerant plant known to attract bees and butterflies.
Gazanias prefer full sun and average, well-drained soil. Trimming back dead blossoms will help to encourage new blooms. Please remember, containers aren’t as drought resistant, they may need a little extra TLC and consistent watering if in containers!
