Pelargonium × domesticum 'Elegance Red Velvet'
Add a touch of elegance to your garden with the stunning Elegance™ Red Velvet Martha Washington Geranium! This beautiful variety produces large clusters of velvety, ruffled flowers in rich shades of cherry red and deep burgundy, creating a dramatic display above lush, textured green foliage. Its striking bicoloured blooms have an almost tropical appearance, making it a standout addition to any spring garden.
Part of the Elegance™ series, 'Red Velvet' features a compact, upright, mounding habit that's perfect for patio containers, mixed planters and garden beds. Unlike traditional geraniums, Martha Washington varieties thrive in cooler temperatures, making them especially well suited to Calgary's spring and early summer weather. Provide morning sunshine and some afternoon shade to help maintain healthy growth and encourage beautiful blooms throughout the cooler portions of the growing season.
