Description:
Ipomoea batatas 'Sweet Caroline Red Hawk II'
A stunning ornamental sweet potato vine featuring beautifully shaped, deeply lobed leaves in rich shades of burgundy-red, bronze and chocolate-purple. Its dramatic foliage develops deeper, more vibrant colouring in full sun, creating a striking contrast against chartreuse foliage, silver-leaved plants and colourful flowering annuals. With a vigorous, spreading and trailing habit, 'Red Hawk II' makes an exceptional addition to hanging baskets, mixed containers and garden beds, where its cascading stems provide lush texture and season-long interest. Exceptionally heat tolerant and easy to maintain, this award-winning variety delivers outstanding garden performance without relying on flowers.
